Halloween to YOU Too!

Aside

Halloween is a calendar date that always brings whimsy into our lives. Here is an anagram for this calendar event:

          How often do we have

          An event where all ages

          Learn to have fun and

          Laugh.

          Of course, it’s Halloween.

Whether we dress up or not,

          Everywhere you look, people

Escape into this moment of fantasy,

          Now and forever. . . ©Jo Ann M. Radja

October 17th is Global Ethics Day with Anagrams…

Aside

This following is a Blog written by me yesterday at LinkedIn Pulse:  https://t.co/BydZhCrpyl

The ethics of wizards are very much like the ethics of people in our real-life world of work.  There is a spectrum of admirable, acceptable and unconscionable conduct to be seen.  TOM MORRIS*

Last week I attended a Conference sponsored by Convercent. It was called CONVERGE 2018 – Ethics in Action. The primary attendees were Ethics Officers in a multitude of industries, who enjoy life just as we do. No matter what profession you have, continuing to learn and being agile are necessary requirements for positions people hold today. Since October 17th is Global Ethics Day, I would like to share a few anagrams with you as follows:

E.arnestly listening, it became clear

T.hat the speaker told the truth.

H.e said what for many of us was not in our future.

I.t was necessary to pivot in order to

C.hange our path.  Be guided by integrity and who you are

S.o the judgments of others won’t keep you from your Purpose. ©Jo Ann M.         Radja

E.arly is better than later, he was

T.old.  Reading the proposal, questions

H.ad entered his mind.  An

I.nvestigation was necessary to

C.arefully uncover what the truth was.

S.o grateful for the advice to read the proposal early. ©Jo Ann M. Radja

E.arly Friday evening she heard,

T.hat’s her – and she was called a b___h.

H.e continued in bad form a few minutes later.

I.t’s always surprising how often you need to

C.ontrol your reaction.

S.o the situation is diffused and not reactive.  ©Jo Ann M. Radja

Ethics to YOU Too!  as you enjoy this Wednesday at your chosen profession.

Here in Chicago, it is Ideas Week. During a presentation yesterday, at 600 South Michigan Avenue, the Leo Burnett Company sponsored an Event entitled, “Creativity: What Comes After the Spark.”   An artist from The Ink Factory created the following Poster© I hope you will enjoy it’s content:

Monday Anagrams – What’s your Awareness. . .

Aside

Although we lost an hour Early yesterday morning, we made it through the day this Monday.  Throughout our career path, we lose time, appointments, colleagues and friends and an occasional discussion.    It happens that we grow, develop and become more aware of who we are and how we interact with others.    Since I traveled to New York City on business, twice this month, I wanted to share with you a few anagrams I wrote, as follows:

What’s Your 2016 Spring Surprise?

Aside

spring-1256806_640Spirit is an invisible force made visible in all life.  Maya Angelou

It happens often, you change for one reason or another. People you knew a number of years back are unable to accept the change. Apparently you surprised someone because of your development growth. What kept you together in a circle no longer applies It could be as simple as you no longer enjoy eating a certain food, or you lived in the same neighborhood and moved away, or you received a promotion that the other person wanted. Your Spring Surprise happens and you want to move forward.

Alternatively, you may be on the cusp of a change – in the process of transition. Your challenge is to assist someone to accept the transition in your career. Using the emotional intelligence matrix of. . .

observing,

describing,

accepting,

not taking it personally, and

not judging the other person. . . is one strategy to consider. Choosing Who Do You Want to be Known As during the transition process is your personal responsibility that you do not take likely.

This weekend as the Spring Equinox greets us, very best wishes for YOUR Spring Surprise. . .

So, I

Persevered.

Resilience paid off.

It’s the first day of Spring and

Not too late to

Give back to those who were kind to me.

Doubts tried to creep into my mind for a while this past winter.

And were swept away.

Yearnings will come true as you focus on

what’s important to you. ©Jo Ann M. Radja*

Valentine Day Week Thoughts…

Aside

Valentine Week Thoughts. . .

After a lengthy meeting, we

Listen to comments from our Team,

Eager to put everything into perspective.

Now another opportunity presented itself

To try a different approach.

It’s what we wanted. Yet,

Now that it’s an agreed plan by all,

Everyone wants another meeting in an hour to
confirm the plan in writing.

Decisions are made daily.

And we learn to trust ourselves and others. . .

You too may learn to trust yourself and others as you
