Are you the right person?

Are you the right person someone is looking for? It becomes a very interesting challenge for all of us to find the right person. Whether it’s at the office, or at a store, or at a service provider, our words need to be understood.

HOW WE SPEAK.. is our tone friendly, are we inviting the other person to become part of the conversation, are we speaking loudly, or softly.

WHAT WE SAY… do we appreciate what the other person is saying? Do we really listen to what is being said so we can acknowledge it during the conversation?

WHAT WORDS WE USE…do we ask for an explanation of a term that is new to us? Do we share information we know if the other person has a clarifying question?

Tomorrow is the first day of the New Year in 2013. I wish all of you the very best that life offers as you Choose Who You Want to be Known As in 2013. Finding the right person becomes a process that never leaves us in our careers. What we say, how we say it and what words we use changes in most situations. Consider how your words tell someone else who you are. Have a great year in 2013.
